Let your soles touch the earth and let the earth touch your soul Namaqua Camino
5-days/100 km Namaqua Camino The Namaqua Camino's 5-day, 103 km Camino is a supported slackpack hike through the distinctive and diverse Namaqualand countryside during the annual Namaqualand wildflower season. It is an almost circular walk ending in the quaint seaside village of Hondeklip Bay. This walk takes you via an inland route to the coastal section of the Namaqua National Park. The two days spent at the coast are spectacular walks with ample time to enjoy the scenic, unspoiled Namaqualand coastline. This is a slackpack walk where you can bring your own tent or, if you prefer, hire a tent, stretcher, mattress, and the daily pitching thereof at an extra cost. A comfortable camping chair is provided for each participant. Distances of the daily stages vary between 15 and 25 km, and we pitch camp at a different location every night. Please note: Although this walk is more leisurely, you will still have to prepare in advance to be as walking fit as possible.
